Botanical care for every season of life.

From the same hands that tend the body.

PUERTO RICAN · CARIBBEAN · BIPOC & LGBTQ+ AFFIRMING · NEW HAVEN, CT

Rooted in Caribbean plant knowledge and culturally grounded care. We offer small-batch botanical skincare and sacred end-of-life support, built for and by BIPOC communities, and welcoming of all who have not always been held with care.

She who holds
water and earth.

Atabey is the supreme Taíno goddess. Mother of fresh water, fertility, and the forces that move beneath the surface. Obsidiana for the volcanic stone: dark, ancient, protective.

This is a studio built from that tension, the Caribbean and the ancestral, the botanical and the mineral, the slow and the deliberate.

Nothing here is accidental. Nothing is added for show.

This work began with the body.
It stays with the body.
Even as it changes.

We warm the oils slowly.
We let the clays breathe.
We stay with the plant
until it softens in the hand.

Care is not only for one season of the body.
It is for what softens, what shifts, what returns.

HOW WE WORK

Three things we never compromise.

01
Presence First

We pay attention.

To the body, the skin, the breath, the slowing.

Plants lead. The body answers. We listen to what is needed and what is not.

Nothing is pushed forward before it's ready.

02
Held, Not Rushed

Care takes time. So does change.

Each preparation is made slowly, by hand.
Each moment is met as it is.

Whether something is opening or beginning to close, we don't rush it.

We don't interrupt what the body already knows how to do.

03
Chosen With Restraint

Not everything needs to be added.

Only what supports the body.
Only what steadies the space.

In formulation. In care. In presence.

Nothing for noise. Nothing for spectacle.
Only what belongs.
